Dear Down fans of Budapest,

We regret to inform you that tonight's show (July 23) in Budapest, Hungary
has been cancelled. This is beyond our control as the circumventing
promoter did not have the fans' best interests at heart. If there was any
way that we could perform tonight we would. We will make this up to you and
at this time we ask for your understanding.

First of all it’s public now that finally we’ve found a new drummer! Csabi has gone to continue his jazz carrier and we wish the best for it, we’re friends for ever. The new butcher is Gáspár Binder who formerly was the drummer of the Hungarian punk legend Prosectura.

You can find some live clips of our last gig with Csabi at the media section. Go get it!

We’re planning some gigs in Europe at the beginning of next year, check the tour dates often!

And the last but the happiest: A new soul is coming to Earth! Kolos and his wife Gyöngyi has a baby called Janka. Not born yet, but comin' strong, just a few days left! You can find a tribute to her at the media section.

It is worth visiting the Sziget Festival in 13.08.2006. as that is the doom day of the biggest festival in mideastern Europe. The mass starts at 17 hours with us, than Wall Of Sleep and Catheral will sound the strings of doom on the HammerWorld stage!

Last week we finished the recordings and also shot a music video for the album-title song: Live Like a Man (Die as a God). The album will contain 10 songs (and one surprise) and will be released this summer.

Meanwhile we've come back to hit the old hungarian roads again.
It was a great pleasure to play with Methadrone and the other bands too! You all were cool dudes!
Every single gig was an unforgettable experience.
We would like to thank all the fans, promoters, supporters, brothers, friends and of course the barkeppers for helping us! We apreciate.
So we're back to continue our hungarian tour while we're working on the songs to have them completed for the new album!

The line-up is now official:

Tamas Palinkas has left the band after the tour.
CD ordering is still available from now on through PsycheDOOMelic Records.
All T-shirts are sold out, but the new design is ready soon (long-sleeve, hooded and girlie top as well)!

Keep rehearsing with David - what a throat!!! - and Vick for "Sziget" festival, but had to cancel Summerground Festival. The new drummer will be fixed only in September, and hopefully he'll be able to do the European tour. More infos coming...

Peter Felfoldi (vocals) and Tamas Koltay (drums) has left the band. Stereochrist will continue with new members while Peter and Tamas plans to start an entirely new outfit. So stay tuned for further news on both bands during this summer/fall.

Philadelphia: CANDLELIGHT RECORDS has confirmed an agreement that will see all catalog and new releases from Florida-based label ARCTIC MUSIC GROUP distributed in the United States via Candlelight.
The first new recordings to be made available via the agreement include
Hungary's STEREOCHRIST and Finland's TOTAL DEVASTATION.
Arctic President Scott Hecker says, "Arctic Music was formed to provide an opportunity for less than mainstream bands to distribute their music to a larger audience.
Our new cooperation with Candlelight Records will greatly assist Arctic
Records to meet that goal, and we are very excited."
ARCTIC MUSIC GROUP was formed by Hecker with MALEVOLENT CREATION guitarist Phil Fasciana in June of 2000. The label has released nearly 20 albums, including those by Malevolent Creation, Hateplow, and more.
