"dead river blues" Take modern rock and graft in some stoner rock sensibilities and you end up with the ballsy hard rock that is Stereochrist. Capable of fitting in with the modern rock radio format but also having enough appeal for those farther out in Rockland, this band fuses thick but melodic riffage that references today's sound and a bit of old hard rock and tops it off with powerful vocals that, like the instrumentals, are gritty but possessed of melody.
